I purchased this pump a month ago for a project Prelude I am building and let me just say this pump is solid, strong. It even came with NPT to AN fittings to make life so much easier. I contacted OSIAS and they explained that the current load for this pump at 60+ PSI was going to be around 15 amps. My original pump never needed more than 10 amps. They also answered a few questions regarding my current setup and said they believe I may have a bad pump. A new pump has already been shipped out and on the way to me. Wow! That's incredible customer service and the fact that they replied to my questions in less than a day and even offered helpful input for my project makes it even greater. I may be having a few issues with my pump but it's also installed on a 1987 Honda that was known for rust contaminating the fuel system and I have replaced just about everything on it but I am still very happy that I chose this company.Thank you OSIAS!

better than kawasaki fuel pump

This fuel pump is a heck of a deal compared to the buying the whole sending unit from Kawasaki. My brute would not idle without dying. It ran great when riding until higher RPM's and the power would fall off. The problem was the factory pump was getting weak and not supplying the appropriate amount of fuel the engine was needing for high RPM's. Put this pump in and now it runs better than it ever has!! I highly recommend this product. I cant rate how it will hold up as I just put it in today. But I will update this review as time passes and I put some miles on this pump.

My e30 turned on, worked fine for a month, now it’s hesitating yet I’m not sure if it’s due to any fuel starvation. But for the price I could not ask for anything that would last more than a month. I bought this because I wanted to diagnose a problem and did not want to spend too much.

Installed in '08 Softail Custom FXSTC.
The box contained everything I needed to install, with several additional pieces I didn't use (for other models).
The supplied fuel line was too short and was not clamped on the pump.
My stock hose would not pull off my stock pump - so I cut it off below the hose at the pump and then drilled out the plastic nub inside the stock fuel hose (from cutting the nub off the stock pump). Then I used my factory hose with the supplied hose clamp.
Inlet sock connector didn't click into pump base very well (loose) and the sock opening itself didn't get a great a great seal into the pump, but it fit just fine. I question if this will cause premature failure in xxx miles. We'll see.
Overall I'm satisfied. I ride to work daily and did the install about a month ago.
Took me an hour to do the job - and I've never done a fuel pump before.

Out of the box, It was a great looking pump.
I got all the connections done and ran the pump. It hit my goal of 52+PSI without engine running (Primed). It only dropped to 48PSI with engine running at WOT. It kept the fuel rail supplied and kept the engine happy.
I went to test drive the car and the pump shut off after 1 mile. It had blown the 10A fuse. I felt the 25 year old fuse was on its way out anyway... I replaced the fuse and watched the new one. It got very hot after 5 miles, too hot to touch comfortably. The new fuse was about to cut the circuit after 10 miles; it was so hot I could not touch it without burning my fingers
I guess this pump is not as direct a "fit" as I was lead to believe, circuit wise... This pump runs at more than 100Watts of energy. I stepped up the fuse to a 15A, as I am using 12Awg wire.
Hopefully, this is a "break-in" thing.

I needed a pump to speed up the transfer of diesel from my 63 gallon tank, to my trucks included tank. Works fine for that with some changes/additions like a water filter, longer hose, a manual shut off ball valve. The tank will gravity feed, but it is so slow, this helps speed up that process. So far it’s fantastic!!! Car has woken up. Turns out the car still has the factory 95lph so the 255lph is a big improvement really helps out with the mods I currently have. 94 mustang gt 5.0. Will update if I have any issues out of it. But I have to say with the price point and what you get you can’t beat it. Will also not this is not my daily driver this is my project car

I recently installed a new Crate Chevy motor in my old Jeep CJ. I needed 58 psi on the fuel line and wanted to use an in-tank pump rather than an external mounted on a frame rail of something. Already had a 5/16 metal outlet from the pickup tube and sock filter in the tank, so measured the height, cut the tube, and clamped this pump and filter using a short rubber fuel hose piece so this pump was about 1/8 inch from bottom of tank. Works perfect. I added an in-line filter up closer to the engine under the hood and now have an LS fuel injected engine in the old Jeep with no fuel starvation issues.

This pump came next day claiming to be OEM replacement. Well it was. It fit exactly as should. Soldering is required for OEM fit. This was on a 2021 Can Am Defender HD10 Xmr. It is quieter than oem and as of now works flawlessly. I dont use ethanol free gas so time will tell if this pump will have longevity. After some driving and time will update good or bad. As of now, can’t knock it!

I installed this yesterday and it worked perfectly. I had a Walbro pump installed previously, but it ended up dying within a few months and was twice the price. I chose this one based on reviews and from how the company offers a lifetime warranty. I normally do not leave reviews, but for how well this worked I had to. Not only did it work, but it is super quiet too. I installed this on a 1999 Mercury 225hp Optimax.
There is website that shows the subtle differences if you wanna research it, metal pump gears is the big one for example! Tested the pump and it puts out over 100 PSI open with no regulation and regulates down to 40, 50 or 60ish without problem. A great choice for a large variety of EFI applications.
