The OSIAS Fabrication Universal Catch Can was designed to reduce oil in the air stream when exiting the PCV and crankcase. The catch can / air oil separator works by intercepting the air / oil from the PCV or crankcase, and through a series of filters and baffles, keeps the oil in the catch can and allows the air to flow through. As the air and oil droplets enter the catch can they first pass through a 10 micron stainless steel sintered filter to begin the separation process. Oil that does pass this barrier is then forced downward to enter the internal baffle system. We specifically designed the baffles and perforation pattern to assist in allowing the air to flow freely and provide the oil every opportunity to stay in the catch can.

The system has been tested and proven effective after multiple iterations of CFD analysis and road testing.

When it comes time to drain your catch can, we include a stainless steel mini ball valve that allows you to place a canister below the catch can and drain the contents. Knowing when to drain your catch can is simple, the OSIAS Fabrication catch can has an easy view sight glass, no more guessing.
