Replaced a Walbro branded GSS342 pump with this one. This one has different markings and seems to be more cheaply made than the previous one. The main difference is the top of the pump and outlet pipe is all plastic and the electrical connector is a bit taller. There is no locking clip for the connector either. It fit fine and so far seems to be working fine. I believe its also quieter than before.

It seems well built and has quality features, plus it comes with the hoses, clamps, inlet filter socks and wiring pigtail. I watched a recent video by a respected mechanic and racer who found a difficult to diagnose fuel pressure problem was caused by the hose not being secured to the pump outlet because of poor quality clamps and no hose barb; this quality pump has a barb to retain the hose as well as the preferred worm-drive clamps. Not all aftermarket replacement parts are well engineered, but this fuel pump is a winner.

really good fuel pump and worth the money. I have a 4age 20v blacktop that I REV 8K on occasion for a decent amount of time during a drift. It supplies enough fuel and hasn't gave me any issues what so ever. my gas tank is on empty most of the time ( running a car on empty will over heat the fuel pump and decrease the life of the pump) and still pumps fuel everyday. the noise level is the same as any in tank efi fuel pump. I did have to do some minor adjustments to the existing pump assembly for it to fit but that is kinda expected with how large this pump is. It's about 3/4" taller and a little thicker in diameter but filters and everything work perfectly. I had to Dremel the hole the pump fits in and sat it down inside the assembly ring inside the tank. Pumps strong! So far GREAT buy!

This fuel pump flowed fuel well in my trials with it. These pumps are a solid upgrade from a stock fuel pump for street applications. This is very similar to a Walbro. There is no telling about how it will hold up over time yet but so far it functions as it should and does the job well.

Very good. I placed it on the frame of the Volvo 850 pump. It fits perfectly with the plug. I don't need to change anything on the cover, but please be patient. The rest is waiting for its lifespan.

Received all the products as ordered, with complete accessories in the box for installation and modification, excellent. Delivery took 10 days because it came from abroad. The use can build pressure. quiet operation sound Put it on and start. As for the pressure that says it reaches 340LPH, I will have to try to measure the flow rate and see it soon.

I used this for a custom in tank fuel pump setup on my 1972 Plymouth Valiant. So far I’ve put 8200 miles on it with no issues. Solid piece for sure. It’s quiet. Just be mindful the rubber hose will swell and soften from being submerged in the fuel.

6 months of daily use on 1985 corolla sr5.Really good fuel pump and worth the money. I have a 4age 20v blacktop that I REV 8K on occasion for a decent amount of time during a drift. It supplies enough fuel and hasn't gave me any issues what so ever. my gas tank is on empty most of the time ( running a car on empty will over heat the fuel pump and decrease the life of the pump) and still pumps fuel everyday. the noise level is the same as any in tank efi fuel pump. The Walbro 255LPH high pressure in tank fuel pump is my go to fuel pump. I have used this particular model for the last 10 years in many applications, from naturally aspired to supercharged Mustangs and they perform flawlessly every time.

This last fuel pump was installed in a highly modified 2001 Mustang GT. It came as pictured and installation was a snap, only needing to trim a little bit of the plastic fuel hat to fit in the factory location.

Followed instructions and no problems, just remember how you take apart so you know how to get it back together, you'll need 2butt connectors and wire strippers to put new connector for fuel pump in the assembly

Perfect drop in fit on my 2002 WRX. If I had to do it again, I'd just buy the pump and not the install kit since I was able to reuse everything from my factory setup with the exception of the pump itself. The factory harness fits the Walbro along with the factory fuel hose, sock, and clamps.

My e30 turned on, worked fine for a month, now it’s hesitating yet I’m not sure if it’s due to any fuel starvation. But for the price I could not ask for anything that would last more than a month. I bought this because I wanted to diagnose a problem and did not want to spend too much.

I needed a pump to speed up the transfer of diesel from my 63 gallon tank, to my trucks included tank. Works fine for that with some changes/additions like a water filter, longer hose, a manual shut off ball valve. The tank will gravity feed, but it is so slow, this helps speed up that process. So far it’s fantastic!!! Car has woken up. Turns out the car still has the factory 95lph so the 255lph is a big improvement really helps out with the mods I currently have. 94 mustang gt 5.0. Will update if I have any issues out of it. But I have to say with the price point and what you get you can’t beat it. Will also not this is not my daily driver this is my project car

I recently installed a new Crate Chevy motor in my old Jeep CJ. I needed 58 psi on the fuel line and wanted to use an in-tank pump rather than an external mounted on a frame rail of something. Already had a 5/16 metal outlet from the pickup tube and sock filter in the tank, so measured the height, cut the tube, and clamped this pump and filter using a short rubber fuel hose piece so this pump was about 1/8 inch from bottom of tank. Works perfect. I added an in-line filter up closer to the engine under the hood and now have an LS fuel injected engine in the old Jeep with no fuel starvation issues.

As for performance, it works great so far. We have it externally mounted right next to the gas tank, in line with the bottom of the tank. Doing so prevents cavitation and air pockets in the line when sucking fuel to the pump. Decent pressure, we are running at 38psi idle and 43psi WOT, no hiccups at all. Sound leaves a little to be desired, but with the engine running it's barely noticeable. Time will tell with reliability. Overall a great little pump!

This thing pumps fuel! Great for fuel transfers. I use it to transfer old fuel out of my boat to use in my lawn equipment so the boat gets fresh fuel. It feels a 5 gallon can in about eight minutes. Much much faster than the last one I had.
